One day is with the Lord as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day Since the glory of God is light, the light we see, and in Him no darkness His perspective of a day is different from humanity perspective. He was before day and night, before these lights in the firmament of the heavens.
Rev 22:5: And there shall be no night there and they need no candle, neither light of the sun for the Lord God gives them light: and they shall reign forever and ever. Jesus Christ is the light and in Him no darkness reason in the kingdom of heaven where He reigns there is no need of sun neither the moon for light.
See God is light and the sun, moon and the stars have no light on their own The glory of Jesus Christ (God) is the light, the light we see. Rev 21:23: And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. In the kingdom of heaven there is no darkness thus no night. God does not need the lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night, and for days and years. Gen 1:14: And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years God created these lights for humanity to divide the day from the night, and for days and years. Humanity measures a day using the lights in the firmament of the heavens the sun and the moon (day and night). To humanity a day is an interval equal to 24 hours. There is a big difference between God and humanity perspective of a day. One day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.Ģ Pet 3:8: But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. One day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day
